The rules were amended according to the decision of the joint meeting of the organizing committee and the jury of the XXVI TYC.
Major changes:
New coefficients for Reporter1.2-1.1-0.7 (instead of 1.5-0.8-0.7).
The number of final tasks in new set is twice the number of teams (ie, 6 or 8).
Grade for the scientific part of the Repoter’s speech is set by jury members before the Opponent’s speech.
The distribution of teams into the semi-finals takes place according to their ratings based on the results of the quarter-finals, but in such a way that teams with top, middle and low ratings play in each group.
